That's crazy! You don't see that in Northside, you don't see that in SAISD. If you look at some areas of town in the school district for example, there are people talking about banning books and all that kind of stuff. What I see in District 7 is that people really care about other people, and that they really try to make things better, to make a better neighborhood, to make a better school. They're willing to give support to people and to accept support when they need it. I find that the people of District 7 are very generous. We also have a good rate of people who vote. We had a drive for food a few weeks ago for the Cesar Chavez march and we got so much food, we had to keep calling the food bank to come pick it up.
